Toronto, ON (June 23, 2014) – Santis Health is pleased to announce that Ross Wallace has joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Ross brings more than 15 years of experience in public affairs, corporate strategy and journalism, most recently as Director of Government Affairs and Corporate Responsibility at AstraZeneca Canada (AZC), one of Canada’s leading innovative pharmaceutical companies.

At AstraZeneca, Ross had responsibility for all public policy and government relations. He led a national team of colleagues, directly supported three CEOs in their government engagement and stakeholder outreach, and worked extensively with a wide range of industry colleagues through Rx&D and BIOTECanada
Prior to joining AZC in 2009, Ross spent nearly four years as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the MaRS Discovery District – one of North America’s leading innovation incubators. He also spent five years working in Washington, DC – first at the Embassy of Canada, and then at the G7 Group, a macroeconomic consulting company providing intelligence and analysis to hedge funds and investment banks in Asia, Europe and North America.
Ross has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, and a Masters in Public Administration from Queen’s University.
