Health Care Government Relations Experts Michelle McLean and Jim Williamson join Santis Health

Toronto, ON – September 4, 2024 — Santis is pleased to welcome Michelle McLean and Jim Williamson to the team. Michelle has been appointed Senior Vice President, Government Relations, and Jim joins the Life Sciences team as an Associate.

Michelle has more than 20 years of experience providing expert strategic counsel in federal government relations and communications. Prior to joining Santis, she led the national health practice at Hill+Knowlton Strategies for 5 years. Michelle executed public affairs strategies that resulted in significant regulatory and policy changes on behalf of some of Canada’s most prominent charities, health care companies and associations.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in the innovative biopharmaceutical sector with proven expertise in government and stakeholder relations, market access, and health policy. Prior to joining Santis, he managed national policy and government affairs for Takeda Canada. Jim also spent 10 years at Pfizer Canada where he managed Ontario government relations and health policy programs. Earlier in his career, Jim held roles in the Ontario government and various management positions in both provincial and municipal governments.
