Position Overview:

Santis Health’s Management Consulting practice is seeking a highly motivated project leader and team player with a strong work ethic and excellent consulting skills for the role of Engagement Manager in Toronto. We’re looking for people that are passionate healthcare consultants, experienced at leading projects and teams, and would like to continue to grow their subject matter expertise and help others around them achieve their potential.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements, managing client relationships and providing day-to-day file leadership.
  • Lead and direct teams to provide insightful and impactful solutions to complex client issues, leveraging analytical approaches, established methodologies and critical thinking skills.
  • Direct and guide the work of consultants, offering expertise to drive high quality outputs and work products.
  • Lead and participate in the delivery of client deliverables and work products – including reports, presentations, and facilitated engagement sessions.
  • Review work performed by staff and associates, participate in performance reviews, and contribute to on-the-job feedback/training.
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen client relationships through the delivery of excellent service and unwavering focus on quality.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal coordination and development.
  • Keep abreast of current health care and government trends and issues directly relevant to the business of current and potential clients.
  • Demonstrate technical and professional knowledge of the health care industry.
  • Participate in the development of health care thought leadership.
  • Mentor junior talent through on the job coaching and supervision.
  • Foster an innovative, inclusive and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, health administration, public policy or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Mandatory previous consulting and engagement leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Relevant post-graduate certifications / training (e.g., PMP) would be beneficial.
  • Focus on health strategy and/or health policy is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Strong project and people management experience and capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple clients and projects.
  • Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management and the ability to work well within teams and independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (French / English) would be an asset.
