Position Overview:

Santis Health, a leading consulting firm focusing exclusively on the health care and life sciences sectors, is looking to hire a Digital Health Intern. This ambitious, self-motivated individual will work primarily with Santis’ Digital Health Team on a range of internal and client-facing projects in the Canadian digital health landscape.

This individual will provide entry level consulting services in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus of this work will be on conducting in-depth research regarding the digital health marketplace in Canada and monitoring for developments in this space. This work will also include project management and the creation or refinement of presentation materials and communications collateral – as well as administrative duties as needed.

This is a 6 month internship beginning July 2025. This is a paid position.

This role is primarily based in our Toronto office, but Santis Health offers a flexible hybrid working model and this internship can be largely or entirely remote (albeit within Canada).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with a suite of digital tools to build out, modify, and enhance processes to monitor updates to the Canadian digital health landscape.
  • Reviewing digital health-related news, announcements, and market information, and assessing this information for relevance to a range of clients.
  • Working closely with Santis colleagues to manage a wide range of client projects and deliverables.
  • Tracking and researching emerging and evolving public policy issues, including monitoring federal and provincial laws, regulations, and policies that could impact the digital health sector.
  • Developing communications tools including slide decks, reports, social media content, news releases, etc.
  • Providing administrative assistance to team members of Santis Health, including scheduling, expense filing, maintaining client files, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education is required. Focus on politics, policy, health studies, and/or digital health is preferred.
  • Knowledge of politics and health policy is an asset, as is an understanding of technology and the impact of technology on health care.
  • A high level of comfort with and knowledge of digital technologies used in the workplace.
  • A solid mix of policy analysis, research, and strategy experience.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Comfort with a wide range of digital tools (such as Trello and Make), or a demonstrated ability to learn to use such tools.
  • Comfort using generative AI tools.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Superior priority-setting and time-management skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
  • High level of initiative, curiosity and professionalism.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
  • Graphic design skills (including the Adobe Creative Suite) would also be an asset.
