Position Overview:
Santis Health, a leading consulting firm focusing exclusively on the health care and life sciences sectors, is looking to hire a Digital Health Intern. Based in our Toronto office (but with the option to work remotely), this ambitious, self-motivated individual will work primarily with Santis’ Digital Health Team on a range of internal and client-facing projects in the Canadian digital health landscape.

This individual will provide entry level consulting services in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus of this work will be on conducting in-depth research regarding the digital health marketplace in Canada and monitoring for developments in this space. This work will also include project management and the creation or refinement of presentation materials and communications collateral – as well as administrative duties as needed. This is a paid position with the opportunity for extension. Position Overview:
Santis Health, a leading public affairs and strategic advisory consultancy focusing on the health care sector, is looking to hire a Senior Consultant, Government Relations. Based in our Toronto office, this ambitious, self-motivated individual will work closely with the Santis government relations team to provide strategic problem solving, public policy and communications services to the senior leadership of the firm and its clients.

Successful applicants should have a sound knowledge of government affairs, public affairs, stakeholder relations and project management, as well as the most pressing health care and life sciences issues of the day. Previous experience working in health care, in government or as a consultant would be an advantage.

Responsibilities Include:
Account Support
- Act as a point of contact for clients and project lead for internal teams.
- Working closely with Santis team members to manage a wide range of client projects and deliverables.
- Lead project management, including designing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, managing unexpected changes, and mitigating risks.
- Advising on government engagement, public affairs, and advocacy strategies.
- Interacting with government officials and decision-makers to build and maintain relationships.
- Tracking emerging and evolving public policy issues – and analyzing their implications to client organizations.
- Liaising with clients as part of ongoing project management responsibilities.
- Identifying key stakeholders and creating tailored stakeholder maps.
- Participating in client strategy sessions.
- Developing government relations initiatives, a wide range of briefing notes, slide decks and other communication materials.
- Identify and respond to or leveraging emerging and evolving issues and opportunities for clients and Santis.

Internal Support - Tracking and responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and other business development opportunities.
- Assisting on development of proposals and other business development opportunities.
- Drafting Santis-branded blogs, op-ed publications, news releases, policy reports and think pieces.
- Participating in the continued development of internal products and processes.

Qualifications:
- Degree in political science, public policy, economics, communications or a related field (or equivalent experience); post-graduate qualifications are beneficial.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience – government relations or advocacy preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of government affairs, public policy and politics in Ontario and across Canada.
- Experience leading projects or programs independently.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical ability to clearly structure information and recommendations.
- A solid mix of project management, policy analysis and communications experience.

Required Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills (including creating PowerPoint decks)
- Strong research and analysis ability.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple clients and projects and competing deadlines on a regular basis.
- Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to drive client files forward independently while identifying and providing guidance on the support needed.
- High level of professionalism.
- Bilingualism (French / English) would be an asset.

Position Overview:
Santis Health, a leading public affairs, communications and strategy consultancy focusing on the health care sector, is looking to hire a Government Relations Intern who is driven to kick start their career and grow within a consulting, health and public affairs environment.

Based in our Toronto office, this ambitious, self-motivated individual will work closely with the Santis team to provide administrative and entry level consulting related activities in a fast-paced environment. Working with the Santis team, this individual will help with government relations planning and execution, event management, communications and public relations activities, as well as administrative duties as needed. This is a paid position with the opportunity for extension. While this role will be based out of our Toronto office, Santis Health offers a flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with Santis team members to manage a wide range of client projects and deliverables by providing public affairs engagement and government relations support to clients.
- Tracking and researching emerging and evolving public policy issues.
- Helping to manage client relationships through ongoing project management plans to keep the project team focused on meeting multiple, tight timelines.
- Monitoring and report on federal and provincial legislative activities and analyzing possible implications to client organizations.
- Identifying key stakeholders and create tailored stakeholder maps.
- Developing government relations initiatives, a wide range of briefing notes, slides decks and other communication materials.
- Assisting on development of proposals and on other business development opportunities.
- Planning and execution of events including advocacy / lobby days at provincial Legislative Assemblies.
- Provide administrative assistance to team members of Santis Health, including scheduling, invoicing, expense filing, maintaining client files, etc.

Required Skills:
- Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management and the ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple clients and projects.
- Strong research and analysis ability.
- PowerPoint and graphic design skills are an asset.
- High-level of professionalism.
- Bilingualism (French / English) would be an asset.
- Project Management certification or experience would be an asset.
