Santis Health Celebrates 10 Years

Toronto, ON – October 6, 2022 – Santis Health, Canada’s leading health care consultancy, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary!

Founded in Toronto in 2012, Santis Health is a public affairs, strategic advisory, public policy, marketing and communications consultancy that is dedicated to providing first-class counsel and support for key players in the health care and life sciences sectors across Canada. The company has grown significantly over the past decade, with a dedicated Federal office now located in Ottawa and a Western Canada office coming soon.

“10 years ago, we started Santis to tackle the tough problems in the health system. Our goal was to bring together a team of smart, capable and driven people to support organizations that wanted to improve the health care of Canadians. We now have a team of nearly 40 permanent consultants and several expert associates who have worked with over 350 leading health organizations.  We look forward to making even greater impact over the next decade as we expand our footprint across the country.”

–  Dan Carbin, Managing Partner at Santis Health.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Santis has experienced a significant increase in demand, sparking further investment into our team and expanding our practice areas.  A major focus has been building a leading communications practice to respond to the unique needs of the health sector.

In June 2022, Bradley Metlin joined the team as a Senior Consultant, Communications after serving in multiple senior-level communications roles in the Government of Ontario. Shay Alford, Senior Consultant, Digital and Marketing, also joined Santis earlier this year to establish an in-house digital team specializing in graphic design, digital analytics, web development, as well as digital and traditional ad buy strategies.

“Over the past decade Santis Health has built a deep understanding of the health and life sciences sector. Increasingly, our clients have been tapping into this expertise to help them communicate with greater precision and impact. That’s why we have invested heavily to expand our practice areas, with an added focus on communications, digital media, branding and community engagement.”

– Patrick Nelson, Managing Partner at Santis Health.

Beyond communications, Santis has also been adding experts to help drive growth.  This month the Ottawa practice welcomed former Vice President of Child Development and Community Services at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), Monique Lugli, as Vice President. Monique joins Santis Health after a 20-year career in the health sector as a senior hospital executive, a front-line clinical practitioner and as Chief of Staff to federal Ministers.

Santis is proud to be continually growing our team of doers, drivers and trusted advisors for the most significant policy shifts in health care over the last decade. We look forward to continuing to work to implement the health system changes that matter to our clients for many years to come.
