Toronto, ON – September 15, 2026 — Santis Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Suzanne Strasberg as its newest Senior Advisor. A family physician and respected health care leader, Dr. Strasberg brings decades of experience navigating the realities of primary care paired with a deep track record of medical association leadership and system transformation.
Deeply involved with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), she most recently served as Chair of its Board from 2019 to 2025. She also served as board member and co-chair of the Committee on Public/Private Interface.
Dr. Strasberg has also held a range of executive leadership roles with the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), including board chair, president and committee chair for family health organization (FHO) negotiations, strategic planning, and communications. She served as a member of the bilateral OMA–Ministry Primary and Community Care Committee for four years.

Beyond medical associations, Dr. Strasberg was Chair of MD Financial Holdings Inc. from 2014 to 2018, provincial primary care lead at Cancer Care Ontario from 2012 to 2018, and a founding member of the Coalition of Family Physicians of Ontario.
She practiced for more than 30 years as a comprehensive family physician in Toronto. She spent the last 20 years as a member and physician lead of the Jane Finch Family Health Team with clinical interests spanning pediatrics, adolescent medicine, gynecology, and palliative care. Dr. Strasberg is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Medicine, class of 1992.
Dr. Strasberg joins Santis at a pivotal moment for Canadian health care. A recent national survey conducted by Nanos Research and Santis Health found that 91% of Canadians believe the health care system needs to change now, with long wait times, poor access, and health human resource shortages cited as the leading drivers of frustration. Her firsthand experience navigating those same pressures at the front lines of primary care will be a valuable asset to Santis’ clients responding to this mandate for change.
